The Rules are aimed at regularizing foreign currency transactions conducted by authorized banks in the territory of Turkmenistan and establishing general rules that ensure the legality of executing transactions conducted by the clients of authorized banks through their mediation.

The Registrar shall also authorize all bank account closures.
