1790/88 eliminates the discrimination existing for unmarried women, as it concerns their rights of registration in land settlement schemes;

Non-village agriculture includes three sub-sectors: the large holdings or estates; the smallholder land settlement schemes; and urban horticulture.

This has enabled the Government and farmers to undertake land settlement and pursue vegetable and fruit crop production.

The Land Settlement Agency has undertaken infrastructure upgrade and regularization of over 7,000 families on 28 sites.
