كما أضيف في عام 1999 اللقاح الفيروسي (الحصبة، الحصبة الألمانية والنكاف) إضافة إلى لقاح الحمى المخية الشوكية، ويتم حالياً اتخاذ الإجراءات التحضيرية لإدخال لقاح المستدمية النزلية (HIB)ضمن اللقاحات للأطفال، كل ذلك إضافة إلى توفير كافة الاحتياجات اللازمة لمختلف الخدمات التي تقدم للأطفال بما فيها احتيـاجات فرق التلقيح المتنقلة وحملات التلقيح والتجهيزات اللازمة للفحص والكشف والتشخيص.
