The Hospital Discharge Planning guidance states that people who are homeless must be assessed in a timely manner to determine whether they have access to accommodation on discharge.

It is expected to include three civilian posts to discharge tasks related to planning and implementation support.

Evaluation, monitoring and accountability can help to ensure that all those responsible for implementation discharge their duties as planned, and that any unintended consequences are swiftly identified and addressed.

The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan discharged its responsibilities as planned and sustained its security measures, its coordination and intelligence-sharing practices with the relevant Afghan authorities and its assistance activities in the local community, especially in the fields of education, health and urban infrastructure.

OHCHR plans to discharge its responsibilities at the global and country levels through further delineating United Nations capacities and gaps in the above-mentioned areas, identifying United Nations and non-United Nations actors and subjects for coordination, defining existing or new mechanisms for coordination, compiling minimum standards, good practices, lessons learned, methodology and guidance, developing a training strategy for the sector and maintaining a repertoire of substantive United Nations guidance.

So, for example, the provisions which would generally apply to this type of proceedings in the same manner as for full court-supervised proceedings (unless specifically modified) might include provisions on: application procedures; commencement; application of the stay; requirements for preparation of a list of all creditors (in order to inform the court, and provide notice and certainty as to who is affected by the plan and who is not); requirements for approval of the plan (including notice to affected creditors, determination of classes of creditors, creditor committees, criteria and majorities required for approval); effect and confirmation of the plan; issues relating to implementation of the plan and discharge of claims.

Several States indicated that they had taken measures to implement GPA, including specifically designed national programmes of action (Australia, Canada), regional mechanisms and frameworks (EC, United States), direct technical assistance and financial support and an information clearing house (United States), regulations for sustainable management of natural and physical resources (New Zealand), restrictions on land-based pollution load (Kuwait), identification of threats to biodiversity and oil spill contingency plans (Namibia), regulation of effluent discharge (Malaysia), integrated management plans for natural resources and goods derived from the sea and policies on hazardous substances (Norway), strategies for a regional programme of action and observation of other international instruments to prevent marine pollution (Mexico), joint working groups and watershed management (Thailand), as well as environmental impact assessments (Fiji, Mexico, Qatar).
