As part of their consideration of paragraph 1 (d) (ii) of the Bali Action Plan, Parties exchanged views on the diffusion of technologies, including: establishment of common international standards on energy efficiency; packages of financial assistance for developing countries to phase out old and/or to introduce new technologies based on energy efficiency or performance standards; continuation and strengthening of information sharing and awareness-raising; and enhancement of national technology absorptive capacity.
