وفي حالة قطاع غزة بالذات تعتقد الأونروا أن الخسارة في وقت التدريس والحالة العامة التي شملت هجمات جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي على مدارس الأونروا في أثناء ساعات التدريس التي أوقعت جرحى من الطلاب والموظفين في داخل المدرسة والتي شملت كذلك القصف وإطلاق النار وهدم المنازل في المناطق المدنية قد أثرتا سلبا في الحالة النفسانية لطلاب الأونروا الذين تتخذ أعراض خوفهم وخسارتهم شكل التبول في الفراش، وقلة التركيز، والتدني الكبير في التحصيل في الموضوعات الرئيسية.
