Mr. Alaei (Islamic Republic of Iran) expressed surprise at the dismantlement of the Family Unit by the Secretariat, while on the contrary that unit should have been strengthened, and thought that the reasons behind the decision had not been stated clearly.
السيد علائي (جمهورية إيران الإسلامية): قال إنه يشعر بالحيرة إزاء قيام الأمانة العامة بإلغاء الفريق المعني بالأسرة، وذلك في الوقت الذي ينبغي فيه، على النقيض من هذا، تعزيز هذا الفريق.
Concerning recommendation 5, there were pitfalls to encouraging States parties to involve their national media in the Committee proceedings, as some States had no influence over the press while others, on the contrary, had State-controlled media. The recommendation should therefore be withdrawn.
وبشأن التوصية 5، توجد مزالق ما فيما يخص تشجيع الدول الأطراف على إشراك وسائط إعلامها الوطنية في مداولات اللجنة، إذ أن بعض الدول لا تمارس التأثير على الصحافة، في حين توجد على النقيض من ذلك دول أخرى تسيطر كل السيطرة على وسائط الإعلام لديها.
Some stated at the time that it was not appropriate to follow the Vienna Convention of 1969 so closely, while others indicated that, on the contrary, it seemed appropriate to follow the rules laid down in the Convention.
وأشار البعض عندئذ إلى أنه ليس من المستصوب اتباع نهج اتفاقية فيينا لعام 1969 بشكل وثيق، وخلافا لذلك أشار آخرون، إلى أن اتباع القواعد الموضوعة في اتفاقية فيينا يبدو كافيا.
In the view of some members of the Commission and representatives in the Sixth Committee, the approach that has been taken thus far to the topic follows the 1969 Convention too closely, while for others, on the contrary, the work on unilateral acts has become separated from treaty law, and some have mentioned the need to take the 1986 Convention into account as well.
ويرى بعض أعضاء اللجنة وبعض الممثلين في اللجنة السادسة أن النهج المعتمد لدراسة الموضوع حتى الآن كان وثيق الصلة باتفاقية عام 1969 فيما يعتقد آخرون خلاف ذلك ويرون أن العمل المتعلق بالأفعال الانفرادية نأى عن قانون المعاهدات كما يرون ضرورة أخذ اتفاقية 1986 في الاعتبار أيضا.
