Guidance on Connexions and teenage pregnancy, as part of the `Working Together' series, was issued in July 2001.

Extending opportunity and equality of opportunity is one of the eight key principles of the Connexions Service. Each Connexions Service will have to demonstrate that it meets 5 broad equal opportunity principles outlined in the Equal Opportunities Best Practice Principles contained in the Business Planning Guidance used by Connexions Partnerships.

The Working Together - Connexions and Teenage Pregnancy guide sets out the principles that ought to lie behind joint working to deliver services to teenage parents.
