Training courses. The eight UNRWA training centres offered 22 trade courses, including diesel and construction equipment mechanics, auto mechanics, auto-body repair, diesel and agricultural machinery mechanics, general electrical installations, auto electrical systems, building construction craftsmanship, carpentry and furniture making, building finishing and decoration, refrigeration and air-conditioning, plumbing and central heating, office equipment maintenance, radio/TV maintenance, smithery and welding, sheet metal, welding and pipe fabrication, machining/welding and aluminium fabrication, machine maintenance, maintenance fitting/machining, dressmaking, clothing production, and hairdressing and beauty culture.
دورات التدريب - أتاحت مراكز التدريب الثمانية التابعة للأونروا 22 دورة حرفية، من بينها دورات للتدريب على ميكانيكا الديزل ومعدات البناء، وميكانيكا السيارات، وتصليح هياكل السيارات، وميكانيكا الديزل والآلات الزراعية، والتركيبات الكهربائية العامة، والنظم الكهربائية للسيارات، وحرفة تشييد المباني، والنجارة وصنع الأثاث، وصقل المباني وتزيينها، والتبريد وتكييف الهواء، والسباكة والتدفئة المركزية، وصيانة المعدات المكتبية، وصيانة أجهزة الراديو/التلفزيون، والحدادة واللحام، ولحام الصفائح المعدنية، واللحام وتركيب الأنابيب، والخراطة/اللحام وتشكيل الألومنيوم، وصيانة الآلات، والصيانة والتركيب/الخراطة، وخياطة وإنتاج الملابس، وتصفيف الشعر والتجميل.
The Care and Rehabilitation Centre at Al-Khoud, accommodating 156 disabled children in 1998, is administered under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Labour and Vocational Training. It offers services to children with severe disabilities in the 3-14 age group. These services tend, through physiotherapy programmes, to achieve a certain level of rehabilitation which assists the disabled child to acquire self-reliance. The Centre offers its services to deaf and mute children and others with simple disabilities within the context of their training and rehabilitation to refit into society. Vocational training offered to these disabled children includes carpentry, printing, smithery, domestic crafts, tailoring and computer literacy.
مركز رعاية وتأهيل المعوقين بالخوض "محافظة مسقط" والذي تشرف عليه وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل والتدريب المهني ويضم 156 معاقاً (1998) في الأقسام الداخلية والخارجية، ويقدم خدماته من خلال رعاية الأطفال شديدي الإعاقة كالشلل الدماغي من عمر 3 سنوات حتى 14 عاماً من خلال برامج العلاج الطبيعي، خدمات المركز تمتد لرعاية المعوقين صم بكم - إعاقات بسيطة من سن 14-18 عاماً ويهدف إلى تدريب وتأهيل المعوق للاندماج في المجتمع من خلال البرامج التدريبية المتوفرة بالمركز وهي التجارة - الطباعة - الحدادة - التربية الأسرية - الخياطة - الكمبيوتر.
