“The incursions into Rwanda of Rwandan oppositionists [sic] from Ugandan territory with the collusion of the Ugandan authorities themselves.

The Uganda Government wishes to state clearly that Uganda harbours no Rwandan “oppositionists” (sic) on its territory and there is no collusion of the Ugandan authorities.
وتود حكومة أوغندا أن تؤكد بوضوح أن أوغندا لا تؤوي “معارضين” [هكذا وردت] روانديين في إقليمهــــــا وأنه لا يوجـــــــــــد تواطؤ من جانب السلطات الأوغندية.
During this authoritarian period, there were torture, disappearance of people and the murder of political oppositionists by agents vested with power by the Government.
وخلال فترة الحكم السلطوي تلك، كان هناك تعذيب واختفاء أشخاص واغتيال معارضين سياسيين على يد موظفين مخولين صلاحية القيام بذلك من الحكومة.
He sees the Islamic camp as being surrounded by decadent Westerners, by infidels, and by oppositionists and reformers at home who in his eyes are nothing but the minions of foreign powers.

Later, in 1995, Law 9140 has been enacted, by which the Government recognized its responsibility for the death of 136 political oppositionists, ensuring indemnity to the relatives of the victims.

But Syrian oppositionists must recognize that the lack ofdecisive international action is not only the result of Russia and China vetoing any meaningful action in the Security Council, or NATO countries’ unwillingness to enter into another war in theregion.
