Uniform standards have been defined for training women specialists in traditional crafts, in particular, saima, kurak, uz koldor (cutters, carpet-weavers, master craftsmen in the manufacture of leather goods), manufacturers of national drinks, manufacturers of yurts and others.
وقد تم وضع معايير موحدة لتدريب الفنيات في الحرف التقليدية (وخاصة تفصيل الملابس ونسج السجاد والمصنوعات الجلدية)، وصناعة المشروبات الوطنية، وصناعة الخيام وغيرها.
Ms. Fakhr-uz-Zaman (Pakistan), speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, said that many developing countries, especially the least developed among them, remained marginalized in the rapidly globalizing world economy.

Ms. Fakhr-Uz-Zaman (Pakistan), speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, said that the challenges of urbanization had never been more urgent, as by 2007 half of humanity would be living in towns and cities for the first time in history. By 2030 the proportion would increase to two thirds.
