In August, 2002 the employees of the Agdam Regional Ecology and Natural Resources Department of Azerbaijan drew up a report outlining that trees and shrubs had been completely vanished as a result of the arranged fires in the occupied Gulluce, Garvand, Goytapa areas of Agdam region.
وفي آب/أغسطس 2002، قام العاملون في إدارة البيئة الإقليمية والموارد الطبيعية الأذربيجانية بمنطقة “أغدام” بوضع تقرير جاء فيه أن الأشجار والجنيبات اختفت تماما بسبب الحرائق المدبرة في مناطق “غولوتشي”، و “غارفاند”، و “غويتابا” المحتلة التابعة لمنطقة “أغدام”.
Furthermore, Israel's policy of destroying homes, objects “indispensable to the survival of the civilian population”, not only dispossessing Palestinians, but also forcing Palestinians to move away from occupied Palestinian territory, collective punishment of Palestinians for an offence they have not personally committed, pillage of Palestinian property, reprisals against protected persons and their property, using armoured vehicles to raid Palestinian towns, villages and camps, dividing Palestinian areas into hermetically separated parts, thus preventing Palestinian vehicles and civilians from using the roads, making it impossible for thousands of residents to reach their workplaces, schools, and even homes, storming tens of houses and forcing the residents to stand in the cold and under the rain for several hours, storming hospitals and evacuating from them all persons including the patients, storming holy places such as the Church of the Nativity Square, attacking Palestinian reporters, uprooting fruit trees, destroying water and electricity networks, abducting and detaining dozens of Palestinians, including the imposition of severe restrictions on the movement of persons and goods, the imposition of 24-hour curfews on several cities, towns and refugee camps, thus drastically impacting the Palestinian society in all areas, destroying the Palestinian infrastructure altogether and forcing the whole Palestinian people into a dire humanitarian crisis for months now, are being carried out on a daily basis.
وفضلاً عن ذلك، فإن السياسة الإسرائيلية المتمثلة في تدمير المنازل، وهي من الأعيان والمواد التي لا غنى عنها لبقاء السكان المدنيين" لا تجرد الفلسطينيين من ممتلكاتهم فحسب بل إنها تجبر الفلسطينيين أيضاً على الرحيل عن الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، وتُشكل عقوبة جماعية للفلسطينيين على فعل لم يرتكبوه شخصياً، كما تشكل نهباً للمملكات الفلسطينية وأعمالاً انتقامية من الأشخاص المشمولين بالحماية وممتلكاتهم، مستخدمة في ذلك العربات المدرعة للإغارة على البلدات والقرى والمخيمات الفلسطينية، ومقسمة المناطق الفلسطينية إلى أجزاء يُفصل بينها بإحكام شديد مما يمنع المركبات الفلسطينية والمدنيين الفلسطينيين من استخدام الطرق ويجعل من المستحيل على آلاف المقيمين الوصول إلى أماكن عملهم أو مدارسهم أو حتى منازلهم، كما أنها تقتحم عشرات المنازل وتُجبر السكان على الوقوف في البرد وتحت المطر لساعات عديدة، كما تقتحم المستشفيات وتُجلي منها جميع الأشخاص، ومن بينهم المرضى، كما تقتحم الأماكن المقدسة مثل ميدان كنيسة المهد وتهاجم الصحفيين الفلسطينيين وتقتلع أشجار الفاكهة وتُدمر شبكات المياه والكهرباء وتختطف وتحتجز عشرات الفلسطينيين، بما في ذلك القيام بفرض قيود شديدة على حركة الأشخاص والسلع، وفرض حظر التجول المستمر 24 ساعة في اليوم على العديد من المدن والقرى ومخيمات اللاجئين، مما يُلحق أثره الهائل بالمجتمع الفلسطيني في جميع المجالات، ويدمر الهياكل الأساسية الفلسطينية بأكملها مجبراً الشعب الفلسطيني بأسره على العيش في أزمة إنسانية رهيبة حتى الآن، وهي أفعال يجري القيام بها على أساس يومي.
