Waqqas compound. A joint services compound was established in 1998 to replace scattered installations in the Waqqas area of the Jordan Valley and to serve as a model for a comprehensive and integrated approach to service provision.

The Board noted that the GPS coordinates of the compound had been previously communicated to the IDF by the United Nations and that the compound appeared on the joint coordination map prepared by COGAT.
