وفي مدغشقر، يراعى أن هذا الدولار المعرب عنه حسب تعادل القوة الشرائية يجري تقديره على أساس البيانات الواردة في التقرير العالمي (لعام 2002) فضلا عن سعر الصرف (دولار/فرنك ملغاشي).

وناشدت اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان الدولة أن تكثِّف من جهودها من أجل تعبئة الرأي العام ضد بتر الأعضاء التناسلية للإناث واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لتجريم هذا العمل(68).
This new article 312, subparagraph 1, states that: “Any person who has deliberately inflected injury on or struck a woman in a state of pregnancy known or apparent to the perpetrator shall be liable to a term of imprisonment of two to five years and a fine of 500,000 FMG to 20,000,000 FMG if the said injury or blows have not led to any illness or personal disability such as is stipulated in article 309.”
وهذه الفقرة 1 من المادة 312 تقضي بما يلي: ”كل من يقوم عمدا بإحداث إصابات أو أضرار جسدية بالزوجة، عندما تكون في حالة حمل واضحة أو معروفة لدي الجاني، يعاقب بالسجن لفترة تتراوح بين سنتين وخمس سنوات وبدفع غرامة تبلغ 000 500 إلى 000 000 20 من الفرنكات الملغاشية، وذلك إذا لم تتسبب تلك الإصابات والأضرار في إحداث مرض أو عجز في ميدان العمل الفردي بالشكل الوارد في المادة 309“.
Any person shown to have threatened or actually employed sanctions against a person under his or her authority or seriously pressured the latter to grant him or her sexual favours, or to take revenge for the refusal of such favours, shall be liable to a term of imprisonment of 2 to 5 years together with a fine of 10,000,000 to 50,000,000 FMG.”
ويعاقب بالسجن لفترة تمتد من سنتين إلى ثلاث سنوات كل من يستخدم التهديدات أو الجزاءات أو العقوبات الفعلية أو الضغوط الكبيرة من أجل إلزام شخص ما تحت سلطته بمحاباته بأفعال ذات طابع جنسي، أو من أجل الانتقام ممن سبق أن رفض محاباته على هذا النحو.
Article 333 states that: “Any person shown to have made the performance of an act or service within the scope of his functions conditional on obtaining a sexual favour nature or to have demanded such favours from any person as a condition of providing to the latter, for himself (herself) or a third party, a job, promotion, reward, honour, or any advantage or favourable decision, shall be liable to a term of imprisonment of 1 to 3 years together with a fine of 5,000,000 to 20,000,000 FMG.
والمادة 333 تقضي بما يلي: ”يعاقب بالسجن لفترة تتراوح بين سنة واحدة وثلاث سنوات وبدفع غرامة تبلغ 000 000 5 إلى 000 000 20من الفرنكات الملغاشية كل من يشترط أداء خدمة أو عمل ما في مجال وظيفته بالحصول على محاباة ذات طابع جنسي، أو كل من يطالب شخصا ما بمحاباة من هذه النوعية قبل أن يقدم له، أو لشخص آخر، وظيفة أو ترقية أو تعويضا أو وساما أو ميزة من أي نوع أو قرارا مواتيا.
