The author submits that at the time of the trial he suffered from manic-depressive disorder and was unable to properly understand what was going on.
ويدفع صاحب البلاغ بالقول إنه كان يعاني في وقت المحاكمة من حالة اضطراب عقلي هي حالة هيجان - اكتئاب وأنه كان عاجزاً عن فهم ما يجري حوله فهماً مناسباً.
7.3 As to the author's claim that already at the time of the trial at the Northern Territory Supreme Court on contempt of court he suffered from manic-depressive disorder and was unable properly to understand what was going on (art. 14, para. 1), the Committee recalls that pursuant to article 5, paragraph 2 (b), of the Optional Protocol, it shall not consider any communication from an individual unless it has ascertained that the individual has exhausted all available domestic remedies.
