The guilt you carry can only be lightened by forgiveness.
الذَنب الذي تَحمِلُه، يُمكنُ التَخفيفَ مِنه بالمُسامحَة فقط
Remaining in it forever ; their punishment will not be lightened , nor will they get any respite .
« خالدين فيها » أي اللعنة أو النار المدلول بها عليها « لا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم يُنظرون » يمهلون .
And it will never be lightened upon them , and they will remain in it devastated .
« لا يُفَتَّرُ » يخفف « عنهم وهم فيه مبلسون » ساكتون سكوت يأس .
Abiders therein , their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited .
« خالدين فيها » أي اللعنة أو النار المدلول بها عليها « لا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم يُنظرون » يمهلون .

They will abide therein . Their doom will not be lightened , neither will they be reprieved ;
