Each year, therefore, we are distressed and discouraged as the General Assembly unhelpfully devotes a disproportionate number of resolutions related to the Middle East.

I also hope that a stop will be put to the so-called blame game that has been carried out relentlessly and unhelpfully by officials and the press of both sides, contravening the letter and the spirit of the 8 July agreement.
