and do not ascribe partners to Him ;
« والذين هم بربهم لا يشركون » معه غيره .

والذين هم يخلصون العبادة لله وحده ، ولا يشركون به غيره .
God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him
« سبحان الله » تنزيها له « عما يصفون » بأن لله ولدا .
Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him .

at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord .
« أن دعوا للرحمن ولدا » قال تعالى :
That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son ,

And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord ,
« والذين هم بربهم لا يشركون » معه غيره .
that they should ascribe a son to the All-beneficent !
