Under chapter 23, section 2, of the Penal Code, a person who procures, constructs, gives, receives, keeps conveys or engages in any other similar activity with poisons, explosives, weapons, picklocks, falsification tools or other such means with the intention of committing or promoting a crime shall in certain designated cases be sentenced for preparation of a crime unless he or she is found guilty of having attempted to commit or committed the crime.
بمقتضى البند 2 من الفصل 23 من مدونة العقوبات، يُدان في حالات معينة من يحصل على مواد سامة أو متفجرات أو أسلحة أو أدوات غير مشروعة لفتح الأقفال أو أدوات تزوير أو وسائل أخرى من هذا القبيل، أو يقوم بتركيبها أو يعطيها أو يتلقاها أو يحتفظ بها أو ينقلها أو يشترك في أي نشاط آخر مشابه بقصد ارتكاب جريمة أو التشجيع على ارتكاب جريمة، بتهمة الإعداد لجريمة ما لم تثبت إدانته بارتكاب الجريمة أو محاولة ارتكابها.

بموجب المادة 2 من الفصل 23 من قانون العقوبات السويدي، يتعرض، في حالات محددة، الشخص الذي يحصل على السموم أو المتفجرات أو الأسلحة أو أدوات كسر الأقفال أو التزوير أو أية وسائط أخرى مشابهة أو يقوم بتصنيعها أو تقديمها أو تلقيها أو الاحتفاظ بها أو إيصالها أو الاشتغال بها بأي صورة أخرى مشابهة، بنيـة ارتكاب جريمة أو التشجيع عليها، إلى العقوبة بسبب الإعداد لارتكاب جريمة ما، لم تثبـت عليه تهمة الشروع في ارتكاب الجريمة أو ارتكابها بالفعل.
