Meknes and Agadir have been chosen as pilot areas for the implementation of the ICMI programme. Accordingly, several meetings and workshops have been organized with the participation of health-care staff, researchers, university teachers, and the heads of the Child and Maternal Health Departments in the two cities.

Taking note of resolution 1/1-ICMYS adopted by the First Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers, held on 24-25 Safar 1426H (3-4 April 2005) in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which “welcomed the Islamic Conference Youth Forum to become a leading youth institution in the Organization of Islamic Conference”
