He also participated in a parallel meeting to the ISPCAN Congress on the study, which resulted in the establishment of a working group which has since produced research instruments for piloting in eight countries.

The Committee encourages the State party to continue its cooperation with United Nations specialized agencies, such as UNICEF and UNHCR, and international NGOs, such as End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT) International and the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) in order to improve the implementation of the Optional Protocol.
