And whoever is purblind to the Remembrance of The All-Merciful, We preordain for him a Shaytan (An ever-Vicious (one), i.e., a devil) who (becomes his) comrade.
ومن يعش عن ذكر الرحمن نقيض له شيطانا فهو له قرين

But they called him a liar , and We saved him and those with him in the Ark , and drowned the others who rejected Our signs , for they were a people purblind .
« فكذَّبوه فأنجيناه والذين معه » من الغرق « في الفلك » السفينة « وأغرقنا الذين كذَّبوا بآياتنا » بالطوفان « إنهم كانوا قوما عَمين » عن الحق .

فكذبوا نوحًا فأنجيناه ومَن آمن معه في السفينة ، وأغرقنا الكفار الذين كذبوا بحججنا الواضحة . إنهم كانوا عُمْيَ القلوب عن رؤية الحق .
