We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say .
« ولقد » للتحقيق « نعلم أنك يضيق صدرك بما يقولون » من الاستهزاء والتكذيب .

Do not sorrow for them , nor be thou straitened for what they devise .
« ولا تحزن عليهم ولا تكن في ضيق مما يمكرون » تسلية للنبي * أي لا تهتم بمكرهم عليك فإنا ناصروك عليهم .

And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot .
« ولا تحزن عليهم ولا تكن في ضيق مما يمكرون » تسلية للنبي * أي لا تهتم بمكرهم عليك فإنا ناصروك عليهم .

Indeed , We know that your breast is straitened at what they say .
« ولقد » للتحقيق « نعلم أنك يضيق صدرك بما يقولون » من الاستهزاء والتكذيب .

And grieve you not for them , nor be straitened ( in distress ) because of what they plot .
« ولا تحزن عليهم ولا تكن في ضيق مما يمكرون » تسلية للنبي * أي لا تهتم بمكرهم عليك فإنا ناصروك عليهم .

But when He tests him by straitening his sustenance , he says : “ My Lord has humiliated me . ”
« وأما إذا ما ابتلاه فقدره » ضيق « عليه رزقه فيقول ربي أهانن » .

Indeed , We know your chest is straitened by that they say .
« ولقد » للتحقيق « نعلم أنك يضيق صدرك بما يقولون » من الاستهزاء والتكذيب .

And indeed We already know that, for you, your breast straitens by what they say.
ولقد نعلم أنك يضيق صدرك بما يقولون

And do not grieve for them nor be straitened for what they scheme.
ولا تحزن عليهم ولا تكن في ضيق مما يمكرون

And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say ;
« ولقد » للتحقيق « نعلم أنك يضيق صدرك بما يقولون » من الاستهزاء والتكذيب .
